Boulaye Dia joins Stade Rennais from Lazio as transfer window closes

Several significant football transfer developments have occurred as the summer window closes. Stade Rennais has finalized the signing of Senegalese striker Boulaye Dia from Lazio. The deal is structured as a loan with an obligation to purchase for approximately €8 million to €10 million, intended to replace Breel Embolo.

FC Nantes has also seen significant squad changes. Mostafa Mohamed has completed a permanent transfer to the Turkish club Konyaspor for an estimated €750,000. Additionally, the club has signed midfielder Balthazar Pierret and defender Amin Cherni to bolster their roster. Despite financial pressures following relegation to Ligue 2, Nantes reportedly rejected a €10 million offer for young defender Tylel Tati.

In other moves, Bahmed Deuff is set to join Royal Antwerp in Belgium on a season-long loan from FC Nantes, an operation that includes a €2 million purchase option.
