Stade Rennais secures Amadou Diallo with contract until 2029
Stade Rennais announced that 19‑year‑old Guinean winger Amadou Diallo has signed a professional contract extending to 2029. Diallo, who featured for Guinea at the Paris Olympic Games, impressed the club despite a recent cruciate‑ligament injury and a lengthy rehabilitation period. Club executives highlighted his resilience and view him as a key part of the squad’s future plans, noting his performances in the Coupe Gambardella and the reserve team. The long‑term deal reflects the club’s policy of protecting and developing young talent from its academy.
Diallo, originally from Conakry, arrived at Rennes in 2022 and quickly became a regular in the reserve side, amassing 36 appearances and five goals across National 3 and the U‑21 competition. The new contract secures his services for the next several seasons as Rennes prepares for upcoming campaigns.
