Stade Rennais striker Estéban Lepaul ruled out against Strasbourg

Stade Rennais forward Estéban Lepaul will miss this Sunday's Ligue 1 match against Strasbourg due to a left ankle sprain. The injury was sustained during a recent 4-3 defeat against Paris FC.

Coach Franck Haise confirmed Lepaul's unavailability, noting that the player's return timeline remains uncertain. Lepaul, who is currently the top scorer in Ligue 1 with seven goals, had previously missed a Europa League fixture against Juventus for the same injury. While Haise stated the injury is not considered extremely serious, the club is monitoring his progress on a day-to-day basis.

In addition to Lepaul, Rennes will be without Arnaud Nordin and Henrick Do Marcolino for the match at Roazhon Park. The squad includes 21 players, with offensive options such as Boulaye Dia, Mousa Al-Tamari, Eliezer Mayenda, and Issa Soumaré available to bolster the attack.
