Stade Toulousain defeats Castres Olympique with youthful squad

Stade Toulousain secured a narrow 8-7 victory against Castres Olympique, relying heavily on a youthful lineup. In the absence of key players such as Antoine Dupont, Romain Ntamack, and Thomas Ramos, the team fielded a squad with an average age of 24.

Two young players stood out during the match. Eighteen-year-old flanker Marc-Elie Kouassi recorded nearly twenty tackles, the highest in the game, while nineteen-year-old center Lukas Amati successfully completed his professional debut.

Additionally, Belgian international Matias Remue earned his first start of the season at fullback during the same fixture. Remue, 23, noted that such matches are vital for the development and experience of younger players within the squad.
