Stade Toulousain secures contract extensions for Meafou and Ainu’u

Stade Toulousain has secured key extensions for two of its prominent players, reinforcing the squad for future seasons.

Second row Emmanuel Meafou has reportedly accepted a contract extension with the club. Despite significant interest and an attractive offer from Stade Français, the 28-year-old has opted for continuity. The new agreement is expected to include four additional seasons with an option for a fifth. Meafou, a major figure in the Toulouse pack, has been with the club since 2018.

Additionally, prop David Ainu’u is expected to remain with Stade Toulousain rather than transferring to Union Bordeaux-Bègles (UBB). While no official signature has been announced, reports indicate that Ainu’u is moving toward a contract extension with Toulouse, effectively ending rumors of a move to Bordeaux.
