Stadio Maradona redevelopment: athletic track to move to Bagnoli

The redevelopment of the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples is moving forward with a new plan for the stadium's athletic track. To allow for the construction of stands closer to the pitch, the track will be relocated to the Parco dello Sport in Bagnoli.

This relocation is part of a broader urban regeneration project for the Bagnoli area. The Parco dello Sport is being recovered through an agreement between the Mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, and the Fiamme Oro of the State Police. The Naples City Council has approved a motion to support the redevelopment of the Bagnoli-Coroglio sports park, aiming to create public spaces for sport, health, and social inclusion.
