Stadio Renato Curi reopens East Stand for Perugia Calcio

Perugia Calcio has officially reopened the East Stand, known as the 'gradinata', at the Stadio Renato Curi following extensive renovations. The sector had been declared unusable for over three years. During an inauguration at the Museo del Grifo, local officials, including Mayor Vittoria Ferdinandi and Sports Councilor Pierluigi Vossi, emphasized that the project restores a piece of the city's history and identity while modernizing the facility to meet professional league standards.

The stadium upgrades are being implemented in stages, with plans to cover the Curva Nord following the upcoming match against Pescara on October 23. The renovation aims to adopt a more modern style to improve comfort and functionality.

The reopening coincides with an upcoming match against Reggiana. Approximately 445 Reggiana supporters are expected to travel to Perugia for the fixture, which will be broadcast on Sky Sport and Teletricolore.
