Stadt Nach Acht Conference 2026 to address nightlife challenges

The 2026 Stadt Nach Acht conference will focus on the evolution of nightlife through three central themes: ‘Safe’, ‘Night’, and ‘Live’. The program aims to address safety, awareness, and harm reduction, while examining changing social habits, rising costs, and new usage concepts for clubs and festivals.

In cooperation with Initiative Musik, the conference will tackle specific structural challenges facing German club culture. Key topics include noise protection conflicts, displacement pressure in urban areas, and the economic realities of running nightlife venues. The event will also feature a roundtable on club economics and a panel regarding the federal noise protection program.
