Regional holiday childcare programs conclude in Germany

Various regional holiday childcare and youth programs in Germany have concluded their summer sessions.

In Osnabrück, the Stadtsportbund successfully hosted 118 children during the Easter and summer holidays. The program featured a new football-focused group alongside a general sports program, emphasizing the German Sports Badge (Deutsches Sportabzeichen) and the DFB football badge. For the first time, daily lunches were provided by Kraut & Rüben.

In Haßberge, the Landratsamt provided full-day holiday care for the children of employees from the district administration and the Haßfurt District Court. Under the motto ‘Adventure for All,’ 25 children aged 6 to 12 participated in creative activities, including crafts and sports. District Administrator Michael Ziegler noted that the program is a key component of the authority’s family-friendly personnel policy, aimed at supporting work-life balance.
