Stadtwerke Bayreuth adjusts bus schedules due to staff illness

Stadtwerke Bayreuth has announced temporary adjustments to its city bus schedules due to staff shortages caused by illness. The changes are scheduled to take place from Monday, August 17, through Friday, September 4.

While the company has previously attempted to cover gaps using staff from the workshop and dispatch departments, they have reached their operational limits. The disruptions will primarily affect lines 304, 310, 314, and 316. Approximately 96 percent of the regular service will remain operational.

In selecting which trips to cancel, the company prioritized maintaining high-demand connections and reducing services during periods of lower demand, such as certain trips on line 304 toward the university during semester breaks. Passengers are advised to check the company website or digital information displays for specific details regarding canceled connections.
