Stadtwerke Hoyerswerda welcomes new apprentices and students

Stadtwerke Hoyerswerda (SWH) has welcomed a new cohort of trainees, including one university student and three young apprentices, marking the start of their professional training. The commencement was celebrated with a traditional SWH Welcome Day on August 14, which included introductory sessions and a visit to the VBH sewage treatment plant.

Within the VBH division, two trainees are starting as industrial mechanics and one as an industrial clerk. Additionally, a student has begun a dual study program in business informatics at VBH Services. Currently, 21 young people are undertaking apprenticeships or dual studies across the municipal group, which includes various entities such as Lausitzbad, Lausitzhalle, and the local transport company.
