Stafanie Taylor hits historic T20I milestone in West Indies series sweep

Stafanie Taylor achieved a historic milestone in women’s cricket on 7 October 2026, becoming only the fourth player globally to surpass 3,000 T20I runs and 100 T20I wickets. The West Indies all-rounder reached this landmark during an eight-wicket victory over Zimbabwe at Takashinga Sports Club in Harare, which secured a 3-0 series sweep for the West Indies.

Taylor earned Player of the Match honors for her dominant performance, taking 2 for 8 in her four-over spell and scoring an unbeaten 64 off 39 balls to anchor the chase. She is the second West Indian woman to join this elite club, following Hayley Matthews.

Zimbabwe was restricted to 142 for six, with Kelis Ndhlovu top-scoring with 63. Jahzara Claxton was named Player of the Series for her contributions with both bat and ball throughout the three-match series.
