Violent incidents and fatal accidents reported in Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Italy

Several violent incidents and accidents were reported across Central Europe.

In Tanvald, Czech Republic, police are investigating an attempted murder after a man attacked multiple people with a stabbing weapon in a rental house. Three individuals were injured, with two requiring helicopter transport to hospitals in Liberec and Hradec Králové. The suspect was detained shortly after the incident.

In the Brno region of the Czech Republic, a head-on collision between two cars near Pohořelice resulted in two deaths and four serious injuries. Police believe the crash may have occurred during an overtaking maneuver.

In Sereď, Slovakia, two 17-year-olds have been charged with attempted murder following a brutal attack on a 48-year-old taxi driver. The driver sustained 13 stab wounds but survived due to timely medical intervention.

Other incidents include a 73-year-old man in Italy who reportedly drove a car into a group of cyclists following a dispute, and a hit-and-run involving an elderly woman in Prague 4 where police are searching for witnesses.
