Staff Selection Commission and Delhi Cantonment Board release engineering exam details

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and the Delhi Cantonment Board (DCB) have released updates regarding upcoming recruitment examinations for engineering positions in India.

The SSC has announced the exam dates and admit card availability for 1,748 Junior Engineer posts across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Telecom disciplines, as well as Scientific Assistant roles for the India Meteorological Department. The examinations are scheduled to take place between November 2 and November 6, 2026. These Group ‘B’ positions are distributed across various central government organizations, including the CPWD, MES, and BRO.

Separately, the Delhi Cantonment Board has released admit cards for its recruitment of nine Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer posts. The examination schedule for these roles includes Junior Engineer Civil and Electrical exams on October 25, 2026, followed by Assistant Engineer Civil on November 1, and Assistant Engineer Mechanical on November 15, 2026.
