Stage Collection project launches music-themed trading card games

The Stage Collection Production Committee, a joint venture between TWIN PLANET, Sekappy, Asobi System, and Y&N Brothers, has announced a new project titled ‘Stage Collection’ that merges music with trading card games (TCG).

The first installment, titled ‘KAWAII LAB. CARD GAME’, is scheduled for release in the summer of 2027. It will feature five groups from the KAWAII LAB. project: FRUITS ZIPPER, CANDY TUNE, SWEET STEADY, CUTIE STREET, and MORE STAR. The game is designed around the concept of ‘making artists shine’ rather than traditional combat, allowing players to collect cards of members and songs to complete musical formations.

The project aims to create a platform where the social interaction inherent in TCG culture intersects with the passion of music fandoms. By utilizing cards as an entry point, the initiative seeks to introduce new audiences to various artists while bringing music fans into the world of card gaming. The committee plans to expand the project to include other artists and host nationwide tournaments and special events.
