Alejandro Sanz musical premieres in Madrid

The musical ‘El alma al aire’, featuring the songs of Alejandro Sanz, has premiered at the Teatro Ocaso Coliseum in Madrid. Produced by Stage Entertainment, the production is the first 100% Spanish musical from the company, which is also known for productions like ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Aladdin’.

Written by playwright Álvaro Tato, the show is not a biography of the singer but rather a fictional story set in a fishing village in Cádiz. The plot follows Ale, a talented young musician, and explores how the arrival of a newcomer named Alma disrupts the local community.

Alejandro Sanz has supervised the rehearsals and expressed surprise at the high level of the musical arrangement and professional execution. The production aims to integrate his iconic songs into the narrative rather than presenting them as a simple sequence of hits.
