Stagecoach announces bus network changes in Cornwall and South Hams

Stagecoach has announced extensive changes to its bus network in Cornwall and South Hams, scheduled to take effect on Sunday, August 30. The adjustments are intended to improve service reliability, punctuality, and better align with current passenger demand.

In Cornwall, approximately 30 routes will be revised. Notable changes include the transition of the Okehampton to Bude service (Service 6) to single-decker vehicles for better fuel efficiency and capacity management. Other service adjustments involve streamlined routes in Liskeard and changes to the Service 171 and 172 routes to ensure more direct travel.

In the South Hams region, modifications include route amendments for Service 110 to improve access and Service 4 to better serve new housing developments in Sherford.
