Stal Gorzów releases medical report following rider injuries

Gezet Stal Gorzów has released an official medical report following their match against Krono-Plast Włókniarz Częstochowa, clarifying the health status of several young riders after a series of heavy crashes.

Oskar Paluch suffered a broken arm and is scheduled for surgery to stabilize the bone. Igor Kordun sustained a finger fracture, while Adam Bednar was diagnosed with a concussion after losing consciousness during a fall. These injuries are expected to sideline the three riders for upcoming matches, including the playoff against Hunters PSŻ Poznań.

The medical findings have sparked controversy and prompted an investigation by the PGE Ekstraliga. Authorities are reviewing the decisions made by medical staff during the match, specifically regarding the clearance of riders to continue competing immediately after accidents. The league has indicated that if discrepancies are found between medical documentation and match records, they may request the Polish Motor Association (PZM) to suspend the licenses of the doctors involved.
