Stal Gorzów riders injured during PGE Ekstraliga match

Multiple riders from the Stal Gorzów speedway team suffered injuries during a high-stakes PGE Ekstraliga match against Włókniarz Częstochowa at the Jancarz stadium.

Oskar Paluch confirmed via social media that he suffered a broken arm following a crash in the fourth heat of the meeting. The injury will end his current season and force him into a period of recovery.

In the thirteenth heat, a separate multi-rider collision involving Jaimon Lidsey, Igor Kordun, and Adam Bednar caused significant concern. While the crash appeared severe and Bednar was initially taken from the track on a stretcher after a perceived loss of consciousness, the Czech rider later issued a statement on Instagram. Bednar reported that he is okay and that nothing serious occurred, though he requires rest following the impact.

In addition to these incidents, Igor Kordun also sustained a finger injury during the proceedings.
