STALKER 2 Cost of Hope DLC introduces new weapons

The STALKER 2 Cost of Hope DLC, released alongside Update 2.0, introduces several new weapons and customized variants to the game. The update adds four standard base weapons: the ARev, GP3A, SIC/SKP, and Fora-230. These can be obtained through mercenary drops, specific building locations, or vendors at sites such as Yaniv Station, Rostok, and the Water Treatment Facility.

In addition to the base weapons, the DLC features 13 unique weapon variants tied to specific quests, characters, and player decisions. Notable examples include the Jagerblick, a customized ARev found in the Pripyat region, and Justice, a unique SIC/SKP variant obtained from General Tachenko during the Shadows of the Past quest.

One specific unique weapon, the Maximum—a close-range variant of the SVU-MK S-3 Sniper Rifle—is located within the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant (CNPP) region. It can be found on the second floor of the Module IB building behind a locked door. Players can access the room using the code ‘2014’ or by finding a document in a safe on the roof of the Turbine Hall.
