Kacper Woryna wins SEC round in Rzeszów and takes championship lead
Kacper Woryna secured his first career Speedway Euro Championship (SEC) victory during the third round in Rzeszów, Poland. After a dramatic final that required three attempts due to crashes involving Maciej Janowski and Leon Madsen, Woryna emerged victorious, taking the lead in the general classification with 34 points.
Janowski, who also experienced a fall during the event, remains in contention for the championship, trailing Woryna by only one point. The race for the title is exceptionally tight, with Leon Madsen and Michael Jepsen Jensen also closely following in the standings. The final round of the SEC cycle is scheduled to take place in Pardubice on October 2.
Other sporting events noted include the upcoming IAU 100 km World Championships in Ames, Spain, featuring seven Polish competitors, and the European Enduro Championship in La Torre d’Oristà, Spain, where Gabriel Chętnicki secured third place in his class.
