Stan Dewulf signs two-year deal to return to Lotto-Intermarché

Belgian cyclist Stan Dewulf will return to Lotto-Intermarché in 2027, having signed a two-season contract that extends through the end of 2028. Dewulf, 28, will leave his current team, Decathlon CMA CGM, at the conclusion of the 2026 season.

Dewulf previously spent three seasons with the Lotto-Soudal under-23 squad, where he won the Paris-Roubaix U23. He cited a desire to return to a team focused on the spring classics as the primary motivation for the move. He expressed interest in races such as the Flandrien 0.0 Classic and the Antwerp Port Epic.

Dewulf noted that the team's opportunistic mentality and the potential for more leadership opportunities within the squad align with his career goals. He intends to take on a more offensive role in the upcoming seasons.
