Stan Wawrinka Declares 2026 His Final Year on Tour

Swiss tennis star Stan Wawrinka, a three‑time Grand Slam champion, confirmed that 2026 will be his last season as a professional player. He announced the decision at the end of 2025 and discussed it in an interview with Euronews at the Millennium Estoril Open in Portugal, which runs through 26 July.

Wawrinka reflected on more than two decades on the ATP circuit, expressing gratitude for fans' support and saying he will continue to compete to the best of his ability while savoring every remaining opportunity on court.
