Standard Chartered expands wealth management and regional connectivity
Standard Chartered is expanding its focus on wealth management and regional connectivity across Africa and Asia. In Nigeria, the bank recently concluded its “Beyond Wealth” client engagement series in Lagos and Abuja. These events targeted high-net-worth individuals, offering bespoke financial advisory services and discussing portfolio diversification, currency hedging, and alternative investments such as private equity and global real estate.
In Singapore, the bank continues to utilize the city-state as its ASEAN hub and a major contributor to its global income. Standard Chartered has maintained a presence in Singapore since 1859 and is currently leveraging its role as an Official Wealth Management Partner for Formula 1 to strengthen client connections. The bank aims to act as a conduit for regional growth, connecting businesses and investors across the ASEAN region to global markets.
