Standard Chartered predicts Chainlink could hit $200 by 2030

Standard Chartered has issued an aggressive price forecast for the Chainlink (LINK) token, projecting it could reach $200 by 2030. This represents an approximate 25-fold increase from its current trading levels near $8.

The bank’s digital assets research team, led by Geoffrey Kendrick, bases this bullish outlook on the anticipated growth of the tokenization market. Standard Chartered projects that tokenized assets on public blockchains will expand to $4 trillion by the end of 2028, driven by stablecoins and real-world assets such as bonds and investment funds.

Chainlink is positioned as a critical infrastructure provider for this transition. Its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and oracle services are expected to see increased demand as institutions require reliable data and connectivity to move assets across different blockchain networks. The bank anticipates that the increased economic throughput and fee generation from these services will drive the token's value.

While the forecast is highly optimistic, analysts note that success depends on sustained institutional adoption, competition from other oracle providers, and the successful scaling of the tokenization ecosystem.
