Standard Liège and Anderlecht engage in Belgian football transfer activity

Standard Liège has been active in the transfer market, securing French midfielder Alexis Trouillet from Rodez for approximately 350,000 euros. Trouillet noted that conversations with sporting director Marc Wilmots played a significant role in his decision to join the club, citing the sporting project and the connection with supporters as key factors.

In a separate transfer development, RSC Anderlecht successfully outbid Standard Liège for Czech player Lukas Ambros. While Standard Liège reportedly had an agreement in place for three million euros, Anderlecht secured the player with a five million euro offer. Ambros cited Anderlecht’s status as the largest club in Belgium and the prospect of European football as decisive factors in his choice.
