Standard Liège eyes transfer moves as Lazio and Anderlecht show interest

A separate rumor involves central defender Simon Hautekiet, whom Italian Serie A side Lazio is reportedly scouting for a loan with an option to buy. Standard, having generated €12.8 million from recent sales, says it is not expected to make many signings this summer and prefers to wait for concrete offers. The club’s strong contract position on Hautekiet, with three years remaining, gives it leverage in any negotiations.
