Standard Liège signs Gambian winger Salieu Drammeh from Lillestrøm
Standard Liège completed the sale of winger Rafiki Saïd to Wolverhampton Wanderers for €9 million and turned its attention to recruiting a replacement. The club entered advanced talks with Norwegian side Lillestrøm SK to acquire 23‑year‑old Gambian winger Salieu Drammeh. The agreed fee is expected to be between €2.5‑€2.6 million, with Drammeh set to sign a three‑year contract plus an optional fourth year. Medical tests were scheduled for Wednesday before the deal is finalised.
Drammeh has featured in 12 league matches for Lillestrøm this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist. In the previous campaign he recorded ten goals and ten assists in 30 appearances in the Norwegian Eliteserien, prompting Standard to move quickly to secure the player as a replacement for Saïd.
