Standard Solar and KSI expand solar capacity in Washington, New York, and Oregon

Standard Solar has acquired two ground-mounted solar projects in eastern Washington from OneEnergy Renewables. The Palouse Junction project in Connell and the Cunningham project in Othello will add a combined 15.79 MW of clean energy capacity to the region.

Franklin Public Utility District and Big Bend Electric Cooperative have signed offtake agreements to purchase the power. Construction for both installations is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2027, with the projects projected to generate over 29,000 MWh of electricity in their first year.

Separately, Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure (KSI) has brought three new community solar projects online, totaling 15.8 MWdc. The portfolio consists of two projects in New York and one in Oregon, with individual capacities ranging from 4.1 MWdc to 7.0 MWdc. These projects aim to address rising electricity demand and provide energy savings to local off-takers.
