Stanford men's soccer has been ranked second in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) preseason poll. The decision, made by the league's 15 head coaches, awarded the Cardinal 171 points and two first-place votes.

NC State took the top spot in the poll with 183 points. The top five in the preseason rankings include NC State, Stanford, Virginia, SMU, and Clemson.

Additionally, senior captain Dylan Groeneveld was named to the ACC Preseason Watch List. Groeneveld has started his last 35 appearances and contributed to seven clean sheets during the previous season.
