Stanford, UCLA, and Arizona State tie for lead at Nanea Invitational

The Nanea Invitational women’s golf tournament has seen a significant leaderboard shift at Nanea Golf Club in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Due to forecasted inclement weather, the 54-hole event was condensed into two days, with all teams playing 36 holes on Monday.

Stanford, UCLA, and Arizona State are currently tied for the lead heading into the final round. Stanford’s Meja Örtengren is in a position to repeat her recent success, sitting at 135 (-11) after a standout second round featuring 12 birdies.

UCLA enters the final round with a team score of -21. The Bruins saw strong individual performances from Michelle Xing, who recorded her first collegiate eagle, as well as Jen Lee and Kacey Ly, all of whom placed in the individual top-10 through the first two rounds.
