Stanford University hosts Football 101 for graduate students

Stanford University’s athletic department and the Graduate Life Office recently hosted ‘Football 101,’ a decade-old tradition designed to introduce new graduate students to American football.

The event brings together international students, many of whom are unfamiliar with the sport, to meet university football figures and participate in activities such as throwing drills and tackling practice. Participants included students from Vietnam and South Korea, who used the event to learn the rules of the game and socialize with their new peers.
