Stanford volleyball defeats No. 6 Wisconsin in four sets

No. 5 Stanford defeated No. 6 Wisconsin in four sets (25-15, 26-28, 25-20, 25-14) during the Opening Spike Classic at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh.

Stanford was led by Jordyn Harvey, who recorded 16 kills, six digs, three blocks, and three aces. Other notable performances for the Cardinal included Lizzy Andrew with five blocks and Julia Blyash with 25 digs.

Wisconsin's effort was highlighted by freshman Audrey Flanagan, who achieved her first career double-double with 17 kills, 12 digs, and five aces. Setter Charlie Fuerbringer contributed 49 assists and 11 digs. Despite a strong first-set performance by the Badgers, Stanford's defense and hitting efficiency secured the victory, improving their all-time record against Wisconsin to 7-1.
