Stanisław Soyka's grave completed at Warsaw Powązki Cemetery

The grave of Polish musician Stanisław Soyka has been completed at the Military Cemetery in Warsaw's Powązki. Following his sudden death on August 21, 2025, the artist was interred in the Alley of Meritorious Persons on September 8, 2025.

Initially, the grave featured a temporary arrangement consisting of a wooden cross and a green carpet. The permanent monument is constructed from dark, polished stone and consists of several vertical blocks of varying heights. The headstone includes the artist's signature, his birth and death dates, and the inscription: ‘Tu leży sługa poetów’ (Here lies a servant of poets).

Soyka passed away at the age of 66, shortly before he was scheduled to perform at the ‘Orkiestra mistrzów’ concert during the Top of the Top Sopot Festival. His unexpected death led to the interruption of the festival's final day.
