Stankovic father and son face off in Italian volleyball training match

In a rare sporting moment, 15-year-old volleyball player Luka Stankovic faced his father, former Serbian national team captain Dragan Stankovic, during a training match in Italy. The match took place during a joint training session between Cucine Lube Civitanova and Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina at the Eurosuole Forum.

Luka, a promising hitter from the Lube Academy, played for Civitanova, while his father, a veteran middle blocker who previously spent a decade with Lube, represented Grottazzolina. Luka expressed excitement about the challenge, noting he enjoyed seeing his father's reactions after scoring points. He stated his ambition to not only reach his father's professional level but to eventually surpass him.
