Stanley Druckenmiller shifts focus to Amazon and AI-related stocks

Stanley Druckenmiller’s Duquesne Family Office adjusted its investment portfolio during the second quarter, shifting focus toward artificial intelligence and cloud computing infrastructure.

According to reports, the family office sold its positions in Intel and Micron. While Micron has benefited from high demand for memory chips used in AI data centers, and Intel has seen a turnaround driven by CPU demand, Druckenmiller’s team appears to have pivoted toward other sectors.

Simultaneously, the office significantly increased its stake in Amazon, signaling confidence in the growth of Amazon Web Services and the broader demand for cloud computing. The firm also increased its exposure to the semiconductor industry, targeting companies that provide the essential hardware, such as processors and networking equipment, required to support the AI investment cycle.
