Stanley Tucci stars in heist comedy Masterplan on Prime Video

The heist comedy Masterplan has premiered on Amazon Prime Video, featuring Stanley Tucci as Roger, a legendary thief planning to steal the Mona Lisa. The film is a Franco-Italian production co-produced by Gaumont and Amazon MGM Studios, directed by Thomas Vincent.

To execute the heist, Roger recruits two specialists: Chiara, an Italian cybercrime expert played by Simona Tabasco, and Jay, a French explosives expert played by Victor Belmondo. During the planning process, the two recruits discover they are long-lost siblings and that Roger is their biological father, a claim supported by a DNA test.

While reviews vary on the film's execution and dialogue, the production is noted for its high-end aesthetic and its mix of English, French, and Italian. The story follows the newly reunited family as they attempt to navigate their complex personal connections while preparing for the high-stakes robbery.
