Star Academy Bayonne concert divided over bullfighting protests
The Star Academy tour scheduled a concert at the Arènes de Bayonne on Sunday, 27 July. Minutes before the show, three former contestants – Mélissa, Sarah and Victor – announced on social media that they would not perform, saying the venue’s link to the traditional bullfight (corrida) conflicted with their personal convictions.
