Star Academy director Mosimann sparks controversy following student evaluations

Star Academy director Mosimann has drawn criticism from viewers following his interactions with contestant Isabella. During a recent prime episode, Mosimann reprimanded Isabella for her emotional reaction after being granted immunity, advising her to take more time and avoid reacting too impulsively with exclamations like “oh wow.”

Following this, Mosimann issued a severe critique of Isabella’s subsequent performance during evaluations. The director’s public handling of the student has divided social media users, with some accusing him of being overly harsh toward a contestant expressing joy, while others defend his approach as professional coaching on stage presence.

In other developments within the competition, Mosimann announced the weekly top three rankings. Mélina secured first place after receiving a perfect score of 20/20, followed by Noémie in second and Kylian in third. These three students will compete for immunity in an upcoming battle. Meanwhile, contestants Antoine, Ydriss, and Maud have been nominated for public vote, with Ydriss expressing shock at the decision following critiques of his singing technique and posture.
