Star Fox remake for Nintendo Switch 2 receives multiplayer update

Velan Studios has released a remake of Star Fox for the Nintendo Switch 2, a project the studio expressed pride in completing following their previous collaboration with Nintendo on Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.

The remake features a complete visual overhaul, revamped character designs, detailed cutscenes, fully voiced dialogue, and an orchestral soundtrack. New technical features include Joy-Con 2 mouse controls and a GameChat feature.

A recent free update has expanded the game's 4-vs-4 multiplayer Battle Mode by adding three new stages: Katina, Sector X, and Venom. The update also introduces new items, such as the Autoturret and the Multiblaster, along with new profile achievements and icons for players to earn through online matchmaking and campaign completion.
