Star Plus to premiere supernatural drama ‘Apsara’ in October

Star Plus is set to premiere a new supernatural fantasy saga titled ‘Apsara’ on 21 October at 10:30 PM. Produced by Mukta Dhond, the series follows a structure similar to the previous hit ‘Divya Drishti’, focusing on the conflict between two sisters representing good and evil.

The story centers on Sunehri, played by Samiksha Jaiswal, a celestial being who uses light and healing powers to protect divine truths and the ‘Amrit’. Her sister, Dhara, played by Anushka Merchande, emerges from chaotic forces and seeks to claim power through dark elements and illusions. The plot is driven by the re-emergence of an ancient relic from the ‘Samudra Manthan’.

In addition to Jaiswal and Merchande, the cast includes Paras Kalnawat, Adaa Khan, Avika Gor, Mona Vasu, and Poorva Gokhale. The show will also be available for streaming on JioHotstar.
