Star Trek 60th Anniversary Blu-ray and 40th Film Return Announced

A comprehensive 60th‑anniversary Collector’s Edition of *Star Trek: The Original Series* will be released on 25 September 2026. The set contains all 79 episodes across 20 Blu‑ray discs and includes exclusive memorabilia such as lobby cards, a 4‑inch “tiny‑vinyl” figurine that plays the series’ iconic sounds and music, plus extensive bonus material—documentaries, audio commentaries, featurettes and rare archival footage.

In conjunction with the series milestone, the franchise’s 40th‑anniversary theatrical re‑release of *Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home* is scheduled for cinemas on 4 September 2024, aligning with Star Trek Day on 8 September. The 1986 film, which was the highest‑grossing Star Trek movie domestically until 2009, will return to the big screen with its original cast and crew credited, offering fans a chance to revisit the time‑travel adventure that saved Earth’s atmosphere.

Both releases form part of a global celebration of the franchise’s enduring legacy.
