Star Trek celebrates 60th anniversary at San Diego Comic-Con 2026

The Star Trek franchise marked its 60th anniversary at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 with a series of panels, fan activations, and exclusive screenings. A Hall H panel on July 25 featured the cast and creators of "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" promoting the show’s Season 4 premiere, while a follow‑up panel honored the franchise’s history with appearances by legacy actors such as George Takei, Michael Dorn and Robert Picardo.

Attendees could watch early screenings of the first two Season 4 episodes at the Balboa Theatre, explore the Paramount+ Lodge activation that displayed a replica of the Strange New Worlds ship board bar, and view the first public look at a restored 1965 Enterprise model. Additional experiences included the "Star Trek: Collector Frontier" panel with LEGO and Magic: The Gathering collaborations, the "Boldly Built" photo‑op space, and a mobile‑game‑themed archive exhibit showcasing six decades of Star Trek memorabilia.
