Star Trek: Outposts Unknown set for October 2026 release

Playstack and Magic Fuel Games have announced that the narrative-driven outpost builder, ‘Star Trek: Outposts Unknown’, is scheduled for release on October 20, 2026. The game will be available on Windows PC and Mac via Steam.

Set in the 23rd century alongside the timeline of ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’, players command the U.S.S. Resonant. The gameplay involves exploring the X’Lehari System, managing crew morale, and constructing research centers to protect a fragile civilization from a mysterious cosmic force.

While previously described as a title for both PC and consoles, the publishers stated they are currently focused on the Steam release for PC and Mac, leaving the availability for Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch unconfirmed for the time being.
