Star Trek: Strange New Worlds concludes season 4 with time-travel finale
The fourth season of ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ has concluded with its tenth episode, titled ‘Tomorrow’s Enterprise’. The finale features a complex time-travel plot involving a black hole-white hole anomaly that allows two versions of communications officer Uhura, played by Celia Rose Gooding, to communicate and swap places.
The episode includes several nods to the franchise's history, including the live-action debut of animated characters Arex and M’Ress. It also serves as a bridge to ‘The Original Series’, with visual elements such as period-accurate hairstyles and costumes for Uhura and Nurse Chapel.
Following this season, the series is set to return for a fifth and final season. Producers have indicated that the upcoming season will deepen connections to the original series and will feature appearances by characters such as Dr. Leonard ‘Bones’ McCoy and Hikaru Sulu.
