Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown announces Q Trials and Equinox DLC

Daedalic Entertainment and gameXcite have announced new content for the video game ‘Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown’, scheduled for release on October 1, 2026. The update includes a free roguelike game mode titled ‘Q Trials’, which features narration by John de Lancie, reprising his role as the character Q.

The ‘Q Trials’ mode will introduce randomized events, changing routes, and ‘Q modifiers’ that present players with strategic trade-offs, such as sacrificing resources to alter research speeds.

Additionally, a paid ‘Equinox’ DLC will launch alongside the update, introducing the U.S.S. Equinox as a playable ship. This expansion will also include new characters, specifically Captain Rudolph Ransom, Maxwell Burke, and Noah Lessing. The game will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
