Star TV launches new drama series 'Başkalarının Hayatı

Star TV announced the upcoming Turkish drama series "Başkalarının Hayatı," produced by Ay Yapım and adapted from William Makepeace Thackeray's novel "Vanity Fair." The first trailer, released in late July 2026, introduces the story of Hülya, a young woman who seeks fulfillment by living through the lives of others.

The series stars Eylül Lize Kandemir as Hülya, with Burak Berkay Akgül, Mehmet Aslantuğ and a supporting cast including Doğa Bayram and Demirhan Demircioğlu. The screenplay was written by Banu Kiremitçi Bozkurt and the show is directed by Burak Müjdeci. The plot weaves themes of love, ambition, intrigue and power struggles, promising a compelling addition to Star TV's new‑season lineup.
