The new Star TV series ‘Başkalarının Hayatı’, produced by Ay Yapım, has premiered to significant viewer interest. The drama follows Hülya, a character driven by a desire for a higher social status, whose life changes after meeting the wealthy Neslihan at university.

There has been discussion regarding the show's origins. While some industry reports suggested the series is an adaptation of the 2004 Mexican production ‘Rubi’, official Star TV promotions describe the work as being inspired by William Makepeace Thackeray’s classic novel ‘Vanity Fair’.

The production features a cast including Eylül Lize Kandemir, Burak Berkay Akgül, Sezin Akbaşoğulları, and Tolga Tekin. The series is directed by Burak Müjdeci with a script by Banu Kiremitçi Bozkurt, focusing on themes of ambition, class differences, and power struggles.
