Star Wars actors discuss prequel reunions and new casting

Hayden Christensen has proposed a live-action project centered on the Clone Wars era that would reunite the original prequel trilogy cast. During an appearance on the “Hey Jonas!” podcast, Christensen suggested bringing back actors such as Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, and Samuel L. Jackson to “get the band back together.”

In separate franchise news, Lucasfilm has announced a casting change for the upcoming Disney+ special, “LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian.” Following the death of Carl Weathers, who portrayed Greef Karga in the original series, actor Carl Lumbly will provide the voice for the character in the LEGO-animated retelling of familiar adventures.
