The Star Wars franchise continues to maintain a strong presence on Disney+, highlighted by the enduring popularity of the series Andor. Despite concluding its run over a year ago, Andor accumulated 918.1 million minutes of viewership in the first half of 2026, demonstrating significant longevity for a completed production.

Additionally, the film Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, directed by Jon Favreau, is scheduled to arrive on Disney+ in Portugal on September 2. Following its theatrical release, the film features a cast including Pedro Pascal and Sigourney Weaver, following the adventures of Din Djarin and Grogu as they assist the New Republic.
